The Train Yard
We are calling the new workshop space "The Train Yard" because of the beautiful old train cars that surround it, and it's potential to be a training center for permaculture and bamboo craft. This week we will have local artists come and paint murals on the space! We are also planning an early October event in collaboration with Desi, from the artist collective "Weapons of Mass Expression". More to come...

Open House Success
Check out photos from our open house last weekend.

We're looking for:

• A student apprentice that can facilitate grant writing for the space.
• A student apprentice that can spearhead the permaculture workshops at the Train Yard.
• Donations of bamboo plants and poles.
• Donations of soil and planting equiptment.
• Donations and support in securing the Train Yard, this includes building a living wall of bamboo, or creating a plank fence around the lot. Also security systems, sensor-lights and other security measures are being researched.
• Donations of paint for the upcoming events at the Train Yard, so youth can be sponsored to create beautiful artwork around the space.
